Application for apprentices

For your apprenticeship contract to be approved, it has to be approved by both your employer and by the vocational education office in your county.

When your contract is approved by VIGO they will notify us, and you can apply. This may take some time.

In most cases, documentation is not required for programmes in Norway. If you nevertheless are required to submit documentation, you will be informed of this in the application. After submitting your application, you will be able to submit documentation via Dine sider at lanekassen.no or by regular post.

You will receive a response or notification of the application’s status within 24 hours.

The application is not available on Dine sider immediately, but if you have received a receipt, we have received your application. You will also find information about the estimated processing time for your application at Dine sider.
